Coming out is a process.
For me that process truly began when Section 28 was passing into law.
Gay men and lesbians were told that we were ‘less than’, that our relationships were pretend.
I needed to stand up.
So I came out.
And never looked back.

I'm 24 years old. I have a mortgage and own my own home, and I have a full time job.

But under Cass' recommendations Levy, I wouldn't be trusted with hormones if he decides to consider it.

Shows how ridiculous it all is.

These new figures come in the wake of 2024's Cass Review of gender services for children, which recommended the creation of a 'follow-through service' for 17 to 25-year-olds. Cass said this would help "ensure continuity of care and support at a potentially vulnerable stage in a trans person's journey" and "allow clinical and research follow-up data to be collected". This sparked fears that access to healthcare, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) would be restricted or even banned for under-25s -

It’s very frustrating how little we know about the PATHWAYS Trial, the Levy Review, or the proposed 18-25 service

There’s been practically no effort to put the trans community at ease, whilst these overdue initiatives loom ahead

I’ll judge each as they release but expectations are low post-Cass

I do fear that some choices surrounding NHS gender care,
are made not to improve the lives of service users, but to manipulate the waiting list.

I pray that I’m wrong, but this piece does renew those fears

Proud to say What The Trans?! Ep 140 “Too Sexy For Michigan” did actually mention this bill proposed banning VPN use in the state

Obviously, the focus of the segment was how it tries to ban any fun with gender

But the VPN ban is yet another reason the thing should not pass

ALL OUT AGAINST !!

All out against transphobia! On Saturday, November 1, TERFS intend to march in London, demanding trans exclusionary, discriminatory legislation, and threatening trans people on our streets.

We cannot let this happen unchallenged- they may have been emboldened by the Supreme Court Ruling, but so have we. Just a few days after ruling, we marched through Westminster to express our rage, be with community, and make it clear that we would continue to fight for trans liberation. That march was only the start.

We need as many people possible out again on the first of November, to show up for collective liberation and show the TERFS that they will never divide us. less

Indulging in a little bit of nerdiness, I managed to pick up the Moon Berry in Celeste.
The berry alone accounts for just under a quarter of my deaths in Farewell.
