The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

She's at that cusp-y age where she can almost work out food, but still needs some help. Apparently syringing milk into the baby requires full supervision.

A very tiny tabby and white kitten sits on the arm of the chair I am sitting in. She's looking up at me. I have a syringe of milk in my left hand. Sabine, a black cat with a white splash under her chin is out of focus, leaning in to sniff at the syringe, while Meg, a second black cat leans in to sniff at the kitten.

Please welcome tiny Ophelia. She was found alone, crying, first thing this morning. No sign of siblings.

She weighs 430g and is probably about 4 weeks old.

A very tiny white and tabby kitten in my lap. My hand is behind her head and her eyes are closed in bliss.

'Fang', the snaggletoothed tuxedo cat, is at home with a couple of loyal, yet untrustworthy friends (or fiends?): a crow and a rat. The full moon shines through the gothic window. This particular full moon, however, is a giant grinning pumpkin! It's all quite eerie, yet in a sinisterly gleeful way, suitable for year-round viewing. Drawn in black India ink with predominantly blue and orange watercolor washes.

Here we have a curious, and somewhat trepidatious cat in a dark and unnerving, derelict garden. She has somehow felt 'watched'. As she walks between two huge topiaries, she is indeed being observed! A black and white drawing.

Here we have four mysterious, furtive and highly suspicious-looking black cats with glowing eyes, sitting together on a park bench, late at night, under the light from a lamppost. Are they plotting something nefarious - or just mischievous? Or, has the deed already been done? Or do they just look guilty? This is an exercise in atmospheric light and shadow and strong contrasts. A black & white drawing.

My carrrrrrrrrr... 😮‍💨 I got the power steering "fixed" on Tuesday, and this morning it sounds even worse than before! 😩 Leaky af and grinding all over the place, sounds like a swarm of mosquitoes under my engine.
