Evidence: Swearing predicts higher rates of honesty and integrity. It signals a willingness to prize candor over courtesy.

A little profanity can show that you're being real and you do give a damn.

Even in 2020 the violence in Portland was primarily contained in a one block area and regularly instigated by the feds who would kettle protesters and fire tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd. 99.9% of the city was completely unaffected. Trump has been lying about us the entire time.

Oh, I don't disagree. Format here doesn't lend itself to a longer explanation (+ had a wee bit of drink last night so I'm lazy) but I submit there's a difference between name-calling and correctly characterizing someone's words/actions.

For example, if someone lies, they are by definition a liar.

One line that stuck with me most from 107 Days was when she wrote that during the debate, Trump was “unburdened by the truth.”

He’s also unburdened by threat of accountability, thanks to the Supreme Court.

Had an acquaintance once tell me that it was counterproductive to call people "stupid". Replied that my doing so was, given the targets of my insult were indeed intentionally doing/saying demonstrably stupid things, more efficient, saving all involved time.
