As a 90s teen, my first real exposure to “fandom” was my girlfriend & her aunts, dressed as Klingons, taking me to a Star Trek con. Because Trek was “for nerds” (derogatory) back then, we were all outcasts, so no one was an outcast. It was so diverse & accepting it would be decried as “woke” today.

Halloween yard progress! We’re almost ready…

iO has been deeply invested in helping with every step of decorations, and gives tours to the little kids who insist their parents walk them by our house every day.

Next up we’ll add some projection effects, then the animatronic Reaper Band on Halloween
