Yeah something is off there, thats the only thing I have to double check to get some good streaming.
Sorry to hear, thats frustrating. Might be an obscure problem with the way the router model operates, definitely have improved latency on my newer one.

AAA studios don't even email me back, no matter hard I hurl myself at the brick wall lol.

I've barely been staying afloat at all out here but it's ONLY because I've been able to work with a handful of wonderful like-minded people on some smaller teams.

I also mentioned that the only reason I have had anything resembling stable work in the past few years is that I never cracked into AAA and I've managed to only work with people who care first and foremost about sustainability. And who actually enjoy the craft of making games. THIS SHIT MATTERS!

I interviewed with 20 studios in 2023 before finally finding a home at CDPR. Studios closed, projects got canceled, devs got laid off. As of today, only 1 of those roles remains. It's a wild time in the games industry

You probably know this but, Is it that her open enrollment ends on the 31st? Or the Life Event of getting married only allows you until the 31st to join?

If its the first option, that timeline may be longer because you had a "Life Event" and allows switching outside of Open Enrollment
