you've heard of the bell curve, now get ready for the HELL curve
i reckon it's been possible to make a good comic "with AI" for a year or two now, in that you are still probably doing carbon-based lettering and layout and photoshop touchups. heck give me time and i could do a manga with novelAI. video, though, will be in its "man sneezing" era for a while yet
"where's the good stuff?" is probably the biggest gripe you can fairly lodge with AI. mainstream models seem optimized for gacha at the shallowest possible local minima. the correct answer is probably "some people are using comfyUI selectively in a larger human process while wisely keeping quiet"
There is something truly remarkable about Generative AI.

Several years in this revolution, half of the US GDP dumped to make these tools free, and i can't think of a single generated artifact, text, image, sound, video that had a significant cultural impact.

wow, GLM-4.6 is extremely good for such a small model
unclear why this bill is necessary since the oldest AI is what, four?

he's "letting" them become "autonomous" by "selling them to charters" so he can "get kickbacks"
is the core of this still an SDXL tune or are you fully custom by now

so, on the one hand this is true. on the other hand there is no one more insane on this issue than rural red state liberals themselves
Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”
is there a prediction market on SBF being free as a bird in 2026
WASHINGTON (AP) — Trump says he has commuted sentence of former US Rep. George Santos in federal fraud case.
what did you think "abolish DEI" meant? papers? essays?
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV is set to effectively disband Opus Dei in the coming weeks.

This would be the most sweeping internal reform of his pontificate — and a dramatic continuation of Pope Francis’s legacy.
NEW: Pope Leo Set To Break Up Opus Dei
If Pope Leo does indeed approves a plan that effectively dissolves Opus Dei’s structure, it would be the most significant internal action of his short pontificate to date.

am i having a stroke or is google now offering AI summaries of individual reddit results
my "hater for niche AI liker reasons" take is i can't imagine competently NSFW prompting with an assistant-tuned instruct model instead of base models
i wish i had the free time to meet this sort of stuff halfway instead of punching out monstergirl concepts on novelAI as a way to relax after work
you can mute these kinds of people all day and the TL will just keep pumping out more its really astonishing
i think what makes hive AI especially tweak-worthy is that they specifically phrase it in a misleading way by saying "does not CONTAIN AI-generated imagery" when the AI is bloody useless at catching anything but raw output
lizard girls: they're sneaky
i think they DOGEd too many paralegals over there
i don't think bezos really cares that much about WPs profit margins

Self serving nonsense. Andreessen has never demonstrated that he would do anything other than take profits if the cost of production went down. The idea that savings would be passed onto consumers is just another version of trickle down economics.
ANDREESSEN: Even if AI ends up destroying all the jobs, “the result would be hyper-deflation of prices, which is the thing that people miss. .. Things that today cost a lot of money will all of a sudden be cheap or free.”

like this is a gonger. it's not cited so i assume it's the authors' personal argument, and i want to know why he thinks this! §112 rejections are the second-most-common type, and an obtusely written patent will not be nearly as scary to potential litigation targets!
a scan of this is making me think less of it. one-sided law summaries (listing Diamond but not Alice, which nuked swathes of patents in 2014?), contradictions (it goes from discussing big firms to discussing patent trolls, which are classically small contingency firms), and some flat-out gongers
this needs more details; *eliminating* patents and copyrights would be just as (descriptively) unconstitutional as a wealth tax. and in the case of biomedical patents specifically, you'd have to replace not just incentives for revenue but *actual* revenue institutions collect under bayh-dole

the concept of information that can be viewed by publicly by anyone, but somehow excludes an unknown subset of the public that you do not like is not something that can logically exist
