Pilz führt ÖVP vor
Peter Pilz ist der ÖVP beigetreten. Ja, der Pilz, Gründungsmitglied der Grünen und in seiner Studentenzeit Mitglied der trotzkistischen Gruppe Revolutionäre Marxisten. Jener Peter Pilz, bei dessen bloßer Erwähnung dem durchschnittlichen ÖVP-Funktionär die Zornesadern schwellen. Jener Peter Pilz, der rund um den Tod des Sektionschefs Christian Pilnacek einen ÖVP-Polizei-Vertuschungsskandal ausgemacht hat.

Ist natürlich ein boshafter Scherz. Pilz lässt über seine Motive satirisch keinen Zweifel: "Seit dem Wöginger-Freikauf in Linz weiß ich: Gegen die ÖVP geht gar nichts. Ich muss einen neuen Weg finden. Wenn es nicht gegen die ÖVP geht, dann geht es nur mit ihr. Und in ihr."

Pilz wird nicht wirklich ÖVP-Mitglied bleiben. Aber diese Episode sollte die ÖVP doch zu einer Selbstbefragung nutzen: Wer sind wir? Und wie sind wir so weit gekommen? Die Farce um die Diversion für den Klubobmann August Wöginger und seinen Postenschacher, aber vor allem die "Nachbewältigung" der Causa hat in diesem Land eine beträchtliche Zahl von Menschen endgültig überzeugt: Diese ÖVP ist verrottet bis ins Mark. Sie ist eine selbstgefällige, moralisch völlig unempfindliche, dummschlaue Institution geworden, die uns übelsten Protektionismus als "Bürgerservice" verkaufen will.
Diese ÖVP spürt sich nicht mehr. Sie weiß nicht, was geht und was nicht. Das ist eine Tragikomödie. (Hans Rauscher, 10.10.2025)
