Trump is demanding DOJ pay him $230 million for investigating him.

At this point, he’s just seeing how much blatant corruption the GOP will sign off on.

Democrats should be drawing up legislation right now, this very minute, to bar Trump from helping himself to $230 million in taxpayer funds from DOJ. Challenge Republicans to hold a vote on it. Push this so hard in the media that every GOP Senate and House candidate is pressed to comment on it.

NEW: 200+ Chicago-area clergy — Protestants, Catholics, and evangelicals — have signed a letter decrying ICE's efforts and voicing a willingness to put their "bodies on the line" for migrants.

"What Kristi Noem and her ICE agents are doing is immoral," they write. religionnews.com/2025/10/21/a...
Mike Johnson's motto: "I know nothing!"
I don’t think there’s much evidence that those who are unclear about this distinction are ready to abandon America to Trump’s fascist tendencies. If anything, they are less likely to surrender to him.

(There might be a few out there saying, “We’re fascist now. Run for the hills,” but that’s rare.)

Whether it’s Bill Clinton letting a donor sleep in the Lincoln bedroom or Donald Trump completely demolishing the east wing of the White House, neither president showed proper respect for our nation’s most sacred building.

“This is not about drugs, it’s not about Venezuela, it’s not about anything else but this new assertion by the president that the U.S. military will kill anyone he points at, for any reason he deems sufficient.”

Very true and very scary comment by Tom Nichols.

You don’t have to be fit to work for ICE. You just have to be wiling to be an ICEhole.

I appreciate those former Republicans who understood how far their party has gone off the rails.

The arder step is to publicly align with the only other party that has the potential to stop Trump. They may not agree with the Democrats on everything, but joining them will make a difference.

While splitting this hair accurately may have some value, the real issue seems to be that we have a fascist president in the US.

Using the term to describe him and his administration is appropriate, and concerns about fascism coming to the country more widely are not unfounded.

Moskowitz: We need $30 billion to extend, obviously, these healthcare subsidies, which allow Americans—Americans, not illegal—Americans, citizens, to afford healthcare.

And the president’s like, “We don’t have $30 billion, but I am going to send $40 billion to my dear friend in Argentina.”
Soros didn't pay for it. He didn't "look at the signs." We aren't leftist radicals.

He's full of that stuff he dumped out of his fake airplane in that recent video.
He sounds like a broken record.
A delusional one at that.
