I get what you mean, though I don’t even know if I would even call it “seemingly” a solution, it’s more like it skips to the end-results of a solution it doesn’t know how to portray beyond the literal sci-plot elements. It’s like the author didn’t know how to solve the knot of their own emotional-

Plus I feel like given our current landscape, if you are frequently frustrated with CR, hyping up shows they don't have is probably the next best method of getting their attention beyond cancelling your subscription and sadly CR would probably have to screw up considerably more before enough
