Totally agree with you. Donald Trump is all about cruelty and greed. It seems that in this case, the media and the world at large wanted to take a time out and mock Trump for his declared desire to have the same award as Barrack Obama.

The widespread media decision to frame international affairs as "will Donnie get the prize he wants?" is pathetic.

He's not the protagonist of human events. And to the extent he's a significant character in world affairs, whether or not he gets a prize is one of the least important things about it.

FYI I’ve had barely any side effects from the Novavax vaccine yesterday. A little arm soreness. A little achy overnight. But I could totally function today, only just now feeling a little fatigued. I did choose to do the flu & Covid separately because often I react a lot.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.   It wasn’t the feds — it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

Based on all the social media reports, today may have been the busiest Friday for ICE activity that we’ve seen since this surge started.

With hundreds of police now protecting ICE’s facility for them, presumably ICE is able to deploy more agents to snatch people.

There’s no law that any of us have to show our papers on the interior.

This is a blatant civil rights violation. How is anyone supposed to know whether this man is a real ICE agent or just pretending to be one?!

If you don't accept that mental illness is real and often profoundly disabling, then you're stoking continued ignorance. No accommodation can be made with that.

My liver enzyme numbers are finally back in range!

It just took over two and a half months after my last chemo. Which in good news means all the things I am doing is helping, but also means all the things I am doing is helping.

So yay, I continue to be spite vegan....
