This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.

I am not fearful — I am fearless.

We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights..

Same.

I’ve got the pocket full of things I can do-

And I feel like I am applying them in ways that matter.

But I want the talk of “fighting” to broaden to include all the ways that we must care for each other.

Banning “dangerous gain-of-function” pathogen research is actually just banning pathogen research. TB causes chronic disease, the supposed cornerstone of the MAHA movement. Hard to see ending TB research on treatments as anything but another targeted attack on science in service of destroying it.

She wants something for it, somewhere.

Decide whether it is worth it and assess what pull it has on her particular batch of extremists and conspiracists.

What is the going rate for that contact list?

I wouldn't give an opportunist too much, and always remain ready to walk.

Whats practical?

Really this is the simplest way to consider the pivot to usefulness of someone who has been so cravenly destructive.

To consider it a simple rebrand.

To use it in the moment for whatever it is worth - but do not attach in any way to such a damaging and strange bedfellow

Sometimes I feel a collective, cultural pull to get on the front lines.

But I need to remember that care provision to those fallen, afraid, traumatized, wounded, sick, unsupported dying, exhausted is another kind of essential activism that isn't "fighting"
