Spooky month continues with my s-video GameCube playing Luigi’s mansion.

One of the games we got near the launch of the cube. The GameCube launch lineup(stretched to include pikmin and smash) is one of the greatest ever.

Here's something a little different for #ScanlineSunday. A collection of NES ROM hacks I made in my teens, running on an EverDrive 64.

I have other later hacks I might share in future but these are ones that are publicly available so thought I would start here.

Finally played this all the way through for the first time, and.. It's Pretty Good! Another solid 16-bit Castlevania from the Konami heyday.

Richter Belmont, a slightly more anime, bandanna-wearing Belmont Clan hero, leaps through the air, hair flapping, whip cracking, as he battles Death himself, here in more of a hands-on martial combat mode. His deadly scythe blade is longer than even the longest man and he has taken up command of a cursed pirate ship for some reason.

Frankenstein's Monster, two men tall, staggers and reaches out for Richter. Does he intend violence, or does he just want a hug? That will be up to you to decide, dear reader.

The Dark Priest Shaft, floating about like a formless specter, commands an undead skeletal dragon to attack our hero Richter. Its flame belches miss our agile protagonist, thankfully.

The Prince of Evil Dracula has been defeated and crumples down to one knee. Richter gets in his face to rub it in.

Did another playthrough of Clock Tower for the spooky month, and I had a lot of fun

I really appreciate the art in this game

Each room is meticulously designed. Clock Tower has an incredible variety of color schemes, yet the main character always manages to fit perfectly into them

take me to church? more like TAKE ME TO SKYNET BUNKER with Terminator 3: The Redemption on this apocalyptic #ScanlineSunday

PC CRT 512p. Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator, pointing his big gun just behind you. YET AGAIN. with a voice-alike actor doing his parts. the amount of one-liners of extreme cheese variety per minute is overwhelming. additionally, the two other film's actors came back to voice this one!

Terminator is throwing a pestering enemy robot over the cover. an airborne machine is in front as Terminator is manning a machine gun

apocalyptic landscape with broken elevated highways. Terminator is riding a robot that looks like that one from Terminator 3 which has a little head and is rolling around shooting everything. ya know the one.

terminator in a helicopter going trigger-happy on a couple of innocent Hunter-Killers that just want to show him some fireworks.

I really like them personally. They strike a fine balance between a smooth retro look and a sharp fine pitch pro look. Some people also even seek out ones with a lower dot pitch to make everything blend even more. Also worth noting that the tubes can be found in RGB moddable displays as well.
