the intro to the game on a PC CRT monitor looks like we're underwater! an enemy underwater with a mine on a chain. i was scared the first time i saw it in the distance! a tree that looks like it was uprooted in a cataclysm and is now horizontal up in a haze. i don't know why, but i liked seeing this in the game on a CRT, it's like a blending showcase. very smooth. i mean, the game has anti-aliasing and upscaling, but still

Karnov, fresh off of his exhilarating fishman battle, tries his luck against a tyrannosaur, a much more capable opponent. Being unfamiliar with the tyrannosaur's game, he gets owned, and in being so owned, becomes blue.

Prepping for my Demon's Souls CRT photo-series, discovered that RPCS3 has a mod/patch that enables a janky but functional (and very impressive) photo mode. Absolutely delightful. But also kind of daunting. I must rise to meet this new technical ability.
