I found a 19th century Cat Villain!

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

I think it does, but it’s angry. My mobility is angry to get out. But it’s not happened yet. I do a certain amount of physical therapy. I did a whole bunch of it at Cedars-Sinai, and I got very close, I think, to walking. That was tantalizing. For insurance reasons, I had to withdraw. And I have a visiting physical therapist now, but I can only really do exercises from my bed, which is pretty pathetic. It’s not going to get me walking, I don’t believe.

They’ve already killed one man, shot a woman, and we’ve seen a pattern of pulling firearms on unarmed people doing nothing violent or illegal over the past few weeks.

ICE in Chicago detained two people (that we know of) for filming them today, a cyclist and a neighborhood rapid responder. This in addition to tear gassing another neighborhood and brandishing weapons at rapid response—both things that have also already been going on for weeks.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

One of the most irritating things I frequently encounter from transphobes is oddly similar to anti-vaxxer logic. Namely, that scientific evidence which contradicts their opinion is simply dismissed outright. When confronted with evidence about gender identity, the response is always utter denial.

October 9, 2025-Folks, it's Frank Black Cloud here, VP of NAGA, and I've got to say, I'm over the moon about President Donald J. Trump bringing back Columbus Day as a federal holiday. This isn't just about a day on the calendar -it's about standing up for our history, our traditions, and the truth of who we are as a nation.
To my Italian-American brothers and sisters: You did it! You've faced years of Cancel Culture trying to tear down Christopher Columbus and the incredible legacy of Italian explorers who helped shape this country. This is your moment to celebrate, to hold your heads high, and to know you're not alone. We at NAGA are right there with you, cheering for your heritage and the pride you carry.
On a personal note, I want to send a big, heartfelt thank you to @President Trump. Sir, you've given this country back to the people-regular folks like us who just want our history respected, not erased.
