I'm tired of a lot of things, but right now I'm mostly tired of
a) people who think it's weird I'm still deep in grief
b) people who get mad at me because I don't have the strength to support them in their problems
c) people who come to me for support in their grief over my parents dying

One scene from a bad movie that stays with me all the time is the scene in X-Men: The Last Stand where young Angel keeps trying to cut off his own wings in the bathroom, visibly distraught, and the horror and shame mixed on his father's face when he sees him. Lots of resonance there.

For those of you who aren't familiar with southern (US) lexicon the phrase:

"Bless her heart"

Translates to common English as:

"You dumb idiot. Why does your mama left you out in public? " in the most extreme condescending, patronizing manner.

Doubly so when referring to a woman.
