i am willing to compromise by just insisting on prison terms for ICE employees. that is the moderate position.
if there's a reason to keep up the "tribunals for all involved" discourse one such reason it is to put in stark relief how far away some of the Dem politicking is from the mood on the ground

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick.

In my experience with studying media, one of the most interesting phenomena is when someone makes a new version of a beloved property that *at first glance* looks like it's a total deviation from the version that everyone loves and adores, but in actuality is closer to what the original had in mind.
