So, looks like I’m here for the long haul. As a reintroduction I am an by-product of cable television and video game reviews. Currently I have a fascination with vintage tracksuits and should be writing my memoir but I still can’t find an agent or editor to tell me it’s a good idea.

This is basically magical thinking. It is the thought process of a small, frightened child who just wants mommy to make the pain stop and is getting angry that she can't.
The issue is that this is a grown adult, not a small child, and also when the Democrats do things it's never good enough.

This one is quite important to me. I knew nothing of Pepe but the triggering effect of the image after enduring gamergate has never left me. It's a constant sour shudder i contend with every time i'm on the computer.

Intellectual. I came from a deeply atheistic (formerly communist) strain of Jewish background on my dad’s side. Moms grew up poor as fuck and was determined to have some type of lawyer to ensure her economic survival. Anything not geared towards those traditional was deemed suspect.

To your original point, I think it definitely affects how we look at the material because it’s not a casual relationship. It’s “special” for a variety of reasons so it’s consumed with an eye towards that. Like an expensive meal.

Mom and pops straight up took my horror books away (it was a bad look to them) and put them in a bag, I snuck them out one by one and read them on public transit. Complete forbidden fruit relationship. Hosting a video game show was my revenge.

My parents roundly disapproved of my love of trashy pulp from a young age (James Bond novels and Horror) so I had to acquire and consume them out of their eyes (it was much easier in the 80’s) I became selective because each instance might be the last time and devoured them bones and all.
