Love Brent! He’s the man!
Green Day should shut up about politics and just stick to singing songs about politics.

The entire Super Bowl is basically a football game and an anti-ICE message. Impressive they’ve managed to actually solidify what might be an ACTUAL 50% plus of the people. Not just the voting 50%.

That takes some doing! May Americans continue to rise up against this tyranny and speak out!

❤️ they’re home! May the evil illegal ICE activities end!
Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

I’m not even a fan of continuing the auto dependency in the USA. But I see us fall behind even more and it’s just sad. We should have held some market share but it’s gonna fall to nothing and eventually we won’t have a domestic market.
In 2025, the US electric vehicle share fell to about 8% as the Congress killed tax credits for EVs, Tesla self-immolated, & other US automakers returned to gas cars.

With many vehicles on the market & public incentives, European EV share rose to about 18%, and the Chinese EV share rose above 30%.

Not shocked. 🤣
A strange but true finding about NYC congestion pricing:

Drivers’ time savings have overwhelmingly gone to those traveling *outside* the toll zone (i.e., driving from Brooklyn to Queens or within NJ) – not those headed into Manhattan.

Me, in Bloomberg 🧵
Congestion Pricing’s Unexpected Winners: Suburban Drivers
NYC’s controversial toll program hasn’t just sped up trips inside Manhattan, a new paper finds. It’s easing traffic in outer boroughs and neighboring counties.

“Seattle’s total narrowly edged out New York City, which produced 14,240 affordable apartments in the same time period from 2020 to 2024, and Austin, Texas, which produced 13,342.”
The Seattle area produced the most affordable housing in the nation, with more than 24,000 new income-restricted apartments over the last decade. New revenue streams helped the region get there, but more affordable housing is still needed.

Loving the suburbanites for this. When y’all come in with truth, strength, and vigor for the community I welcome y’all! ✊🏻
Suburbanites are discovering both their courage and their love for the cities they often vilify. People who said “it’s sad you can’t go to downtown Minneapolis any more with all the crime now” four years ago are driving in, carrying signs, and tailing ICE in their cars
For those unfamiliar with Edina this is the Minneapolis equivalent of a Westchester socialite walking down Fifth Avenue singing "John Brown's Body."
