Yesterday was full tourist mode with 9million miles of walking and standing in lines. We are so very tired but today is tourist mode .2 in odaiba! Our schedule is packed and we are ready for a cruise break. 🤣

Didn't intend to but spent 10 hours in akihabara. Did a sonic stamp rally in yodobashi, got hitman reborn gachapon, ate and drank way too much at eorzea cafe...I'll be bloated for a week...won 2 loporrit lamps, got a froggy coin purse from a hentai shop...they put him in a discreet black bag. 🤣

Then wandered to a family mart for some room snacks and famichiki!!!!! I fear i ruined the famichiki by discovering niagara chicken in grimsby which is THE chicken strips of all time but for a 2$ convenience store chicken strip...very good. Then felt deliriously tired so went back to the room.

We were already looking at, just a bit more enthusiastically at each item loool we were so tired so we were like ya sure and it was the most delicious Japanese BBQ meal...the flavor profiles here supercede anything that tries to be it back home. Crazy stuff...soo good.. played 1 crane game and lost.

Showered, got changed and wandered the golden gai area for a while looking at all the menus of all the restaurants m. Feels very NYC meets Vegas with the curb callers trying to getcha and all the people and lights. A bit overwhelming and totally surreal. One guy just started pointing at the menu -

It is 900000 degrees everywhere. I can't wait to shower. It took us 3 hours to get from the airport to shinjuku...we've been travelling for 19 hours aaaaaaaaaaa I'm SO SWEATY. I NEED TO IMMEDIATELY PUT ON THE LIGHTEST CLOTHES I OWN

Free from customs, time ot figure out transitcuz the next limo bus isn't for another hour+. We can do this!! 😤 ( this airport is chaotic af but also very organized )

Not a car person but something very special about seeing Japanese style vans as soon as you pull into the airport aaaah!! It's real!!!

Also glad I bought flight internet to look up how to get to our hotel because uh...we forgot to do that. Want to take the monorail but also want to get there ASAP so we might just take the airport limo bus cuz it requires no transfers and I am too tired to navigate. Drop me off on the doorstep pls.

I appreciate the cabin darkening during the flight and then easing the lights back on with ..."breakfast"... at 2am home time... an attempt was made to help adjust but I am still very tired. 😂 I played a bit of tactics and love it already but the map views make my head spin.
