People need to stop the thinking that’s like “well when things get back to normal we’ll do this.” Remember how we said that about COVID years ago & we’re still in a pandemic? The United States is not coming back to glory & that shouldn’t be the goal. But WE can try to survive if we get together.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

People saw the news about the CDC and were like, "OMG public health has been destroyed!" Have you been sleepwalking for the last four years? The US does not have a functioning public health system, because it was sacrificed for capital. We're a hotbed of COVID, measles, and a host of other diseases.

Thanks to Star Trek Scouts my kid is now hooked on Blaze and his machines and I think if they brought more of this energy into scouts it would be an amazing show. They explain science things! Can you imagine little Spocket explaining kinetic energy?? It would be amazing.

Short term thinking is sinking us on COVID and Climate change. Nothing can be achieved if we have a sick population and children are the future. We have at least 1 in 10 with long covid. The US has 1 in 5, 1 in 3 in states like Oklahoma. This is a global health emergency. 🚨

It can be daunting to mask back up when no one else is bothering, but your health is worth it.

Every Covid infection is a dice roll with disability, and a good respirator like an N95 stops chains of transmission.

Just got the flu shot and covid booster. I believe in science. I also believe in not getting sick from anything given a lot of writing deadlines, so I mask up in crowds, airports, and use a helpful nasal spray. Really not wise to take chances if you can avoid it.

For years I dreamt of a house filled with sand. But drifts of it blowing around through open windows. Always the same house, and not one I ever recognized.
