My boy Yama struggled because he kept missing his location. It didn't appear to have much to do with pitch calling. Kersh too. And splits dictate even an injured Smith was the better choice.

I know we're short on catching depth, but I think they should give some serious thought to transitioning Rushing to the outfield next season and just keep Big Ben as the backup.
