NB: When I, a professor of law, profess that an act is unlawful, I am not doing it to inform the lawbreaker, but rather to inform you, the reader.

So the question “what, like you think he cares?” is inapposite. The question is whether *you* care. I think you should, which is why I bother.

Dunleavy has increased the Department of Corrections UGF draw every year. We now spend more on DOC than the University of Alaska system.

In turn, we have had 18 Alaskans die in state custody, the most on record and a tie with 2022.

Where’s Alaska on protecting our sensitive voter information? Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom is giving it away while running for governor which should be disqualifying. Carpetbagger from TX appointed AG Cox is too busy with culture war lawsuits to stand up for Alaskans. #akleg
Today my law firm filed to intervene to fight DOJ's lawsuits to access confidential voter data in Colorado and Hawaii. We are now fighting to protect our clients' sensitive data in 16 of the 18 cases filed by DOJ (plus Fulton County). I expect we will file in the remaining 2 (DE and MA) this week.

I could have greatly benefited from one of Willy Nelson’s Bloody Mary Mornings today. But instead I had a Seasonal Affective Disorder Morning.

1:15 on the Tanana River. Sunrise already sinking into sunset. Four more days and the light begins to return.

Not sharebait.

I COULD NOT believe my luck.

Last year I had seen the chicks about 3 weeks later, I was determined to get them younger, and this one DID NOT disappoint!
