I’ve been holding off buying coupe glasses. Any time I came across some, they seemed plain & like I was settling. I just knew the right glasses would find me.

And I was right. 🥹 these glasses are absolutely STUNNING. I can’t wait to get a pic in natural light. They were on sale! And I found 4!

The upside of tonight is that I found some gorgeous new coupe glasses on sale at TJ Maxx. The downside of tonight is that I didn’t realize til I already paid and locked the washer machine that I hadn’t put the blankets in the washer. I paid $2.50 to watch scent beads dissolve.

Been seeing lots of discourse around how subscription & convenience services have stripped away so much of what contributes to community. Dutch on TT made a video about how often his mom is at the bank & post office. Whole time those errands provide social interaction stripped by modern convenience.

One of the things I said I wanted to change about my love life (and yes yall finna get these tidbits as I make a real concerted attempt to find what I want now) was taking the lead. I realized a lot of the great experiences I had were great bc I was designing and curating them.

I fixed it! It’s perfect & my pendant light is hanging beautifully!

Did I break two anchors & end up with multiple holes? Yes! Will I need to move one of the hooks bc I don’t like where it’s hanging? Also yes!

But I learned how to do a new thing! I’m just a girl, but I’m just a girl who can! 😃

I prolly been on at least 15 first dates in the past couple years. I have shown up to every single one with flowers. Only one person has shown up with flowers for me. These niggas is not romancing like they say they are on the innanet. And that’s low hanging fruit.

music is suffering because of the purposeful defunding of arts education specifically and defunding of education in general. it’s suffering because of lack of access. it’s suffering because artists are catering to algorithms vs. living, breathing people or even themselves.
