How do 9% not know??
Do you stand or sit to wipe your bum?

The question has been doing the rounds on podcasts and social media, and now YouGov has the answer:

Stand: 34%
Sit: 57%

So... spells.

We're using spells to undo the work we've done... tricking rocks into thinking with lightning.

And trapping evil cars in circles of salt.

The old ways are new again.
Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

I take 13 different medications. Got so fed up with them all running out at different times, and my bloody GP surgery being so inflexible with prescribing, that I've drawn up a spreadsheet of ALL THE MEDS and how many days left of each so it alerts me when I have less than 2 weeks of anything.

What needs to happen is *every driver* has to take a highway code test every 10 years. So much has changed, most people have no idea of recent changes. You get three retakes. If you can't pass, you can't drive. That'd shake things up a bit.
69% of Britons would support the introduction of graduated driving licences, whereby new drivers would be restricted from driving in certain conditions, as a new campaign is launched by MPs and bereaved families in favour of them

Support: 69%
Oppose: 21%

My photo app just reminded me of this picture from about 20 years ago (not mine, I just have a copy). I must admit to being a tad wistful for when Battersea Power Station stood in splendid isolation rather than being clogged by all the nasty glass buildings which now surround it.

The thing they really don't tell you about chronic illness is how much bloody Admin there is. I reckon at the moment I'm spending an average of half a day every week just dealing with hospitals, outpatient departments, GPs and Pharmacists. Wish I could bill someone for the time!

OK, here we go.

We have had 1,753 votes in this tournament so far and they have sorted all the Queen songs 12 of my friends and I could think of to a last pair.

Let's step onto the stage at the Hammersmith Apollo and pretend it's Christmas Eve.

Actually quite tempted to write a post about quite how shit the 70s were.

PSA: tips to protect yourself from scams on Signal.

Every major comms platform has to contend w phishing, impersonation, & scams. Sadly.

Signal is major, and as we've grown we've heard about more of these attacks--scammy people pretending to be something or someone to trick and abuse others. 1/
