It’s World AIDS Day, and as the government is pretending it doesn’t exist, I’d like to tell you a story about growing up queer in the 80s/90s when powerful men also liked to pretend AIDS didn’t exist.

It’s about the day I saw the AIDS quilt.

Sharing for the new month. The hardest one for many. Love to everyone and even though we share and put our hopes out there, we are like so many. Barely making it or not making it. Love to everyone. May December bring us all some new joy and peace. 🪶💕
As month end approaches, I have to post our reminder that we gratefully accept kokum gifts that help us and many others survive right now. I live on a small pension raising teens and it helps so much to have beautiful souls who care about us. It is a lot to overcome alone. Love to all this day💞🪶

Why did the support stop? I’m still displaced in the south, living in a tent with no home or work. My little Nasser needs daily medicine, and my family has no food or warmth. Without your help, we’re slipping closer to danger every day. Please don’t turn away from us now.💔

The first games in the best-of-three Olympic Curling Trials finals did not disappoint.

Victories for Homan and Jacobs on a wild day of curling in Halifax. Both games full of twists and turns. Entertaining to be sure.

Here’s a full recap of the day: bit.ly/48u8oAb
Game 1 Best-of-Three Final Recap of Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials (Friday, Nov. 28, 2025)
The opening games of the first-ever best-of-three Olympic Trials finals delivered everything: chaos, nerves, misses, brilliance, and victories decided by the smallest margins. Both Brad Jacobs and Rachel Homan escaped with 1–0 series leads after dramatic finishes on a tricky, unpredictable sheet at Scotiabank Centre. On the men’s side, Jacobs won 9–8 without even throwing his last rock after Matt Dunstone narrowly missed his final shot in one of the wildest games of the week. Ben Hebert and Jacobs break down the nerves, the ice, and the chaos, while Dunstone reflects candidly on regrouping for Game 2. On the women’s side, it was Homan vs. hometown favourite Christina Black in a battle that went right to the final stone. Black pushed the world No. 1 to the brink but came up inches short, as Homan takes a 5–4 win and moves within one victory of clinching the Maple Leaf. Hear from Rachel Homan, Emma Miskew, and Christina Black as they dissect a tense opening game, the shifting ice conditions, and the mindset heading into Saturday, where both finals could be decided. Game 2 is next. Will we crown Canada’s Olympic teams, or are we headed to a winner-take-all Game 3? Subscribe for full coverage of Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials all week long. #Curling #Trials2025 #OlympicTrials #RockChannel #LetsRock

Like, imagine writing that the economy is struggling because a few of us won't buy a new mobile device WHEN BILLIONAIRES (soon TRILLIONAIRES) EXIST! 🤦🏼‍♀️
It's device hoarding, folks. The root of our economic woes is device hoarding.

Maybe someone, somewhere needs to turn the "trickle" in trickle down economics into more of a flood. 🤷🏼‍♀️
