Day 6: Stede would definitely want to remember having the same brilliant and successful idea as Blackbeard.

I also sifted through dozens of lighthouse pendants and charms but none felt quite right until I found this one from the Girl Scouts shop (!) which has really cool shadowing.

'In the winter garden' - my favourite geometric garden aerial that I've ever done! I don't remember if I shared it here or not yet - it has camellia bushes in the centre and beds of winter heather and hellebore :) the geometric landscapes are always more challenging and I love that! #embroidery

A very important thread. When I was probably no more than 10, I saw this picture of the woman known as Harlow in the Philly Inquirer. A little babygay, I was shocked that such a glamour queen could live in my hometown and even more shocked to see her described as "a former man."

Day 2: I know a lot of us fell in love with Stede when he read to the crew, and the book choice of Pinocchio is so poignant for one of the show's themes of what does it mean to be a "real" pirate or man, or captain or father, or just an adult in general.
