The acting is excellent- Michael Shannon always great but Matthew MacFadyen is amazing- esp as you know he’s British: a story for our times as well/ politics was always dirty but there were also always true believers

He can’t have mass exodus at NYPD which wild consume & destroy him. Any politician only has first 18 mo to get things done.Tisch has the respect of the union/can keep them in line.Let Mamdani have some successes with his agenda & let’s get thru 2026 midterms w/o his becoming a poster boy for crime
I do want to be clear that I like Mamdani, I think he is great. But I also think that his police commissioner should be his strongest political ally and not someone inherited from the establishment.
