I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been to a couple of conferences where I felt like one of the muppets myself, and I'm absolutely certain that muppets were running a few of them.
I'd watch a muppet show movie where the muppets infiltrate an academic conference.

Reform UK Councillor John Baker threatened legal action when we said Reform UK’s Kent Council was selling the historic Folkestone Library building in Grace Hill.

They had promised to keep it open.

Interlibrary loan in academia is extremely seasonal. We tick over with work all the time, as people always need stuff, but we have specific ebbs and flows over the academic year. Tomorrow my library opens up again for what is probably our busiest period and we are going to get absolutely slammed.

I work as a Standardised Patient in medical education, and this year during an MSK training session a doctor told me how grateful they were that my fucked up right knee means they can use me to show the student doctors positive and negative tests for ACL damage at the same time.
