My fondness for HB&K goes way back when Mike was still self-publishing it. Still have these.
Herobear & The Kid: The Inheritance by Mike Kunkel. Self-published circa 2002 or so. Compiles the first five Herobear comics plus many other extras. Herobear and the Kid "best friends" bust, limited edition 917/1000. I got this on a business trip to Los Angeles around 2007 I think.

Same percentage who dares to call a random output of stochastic probabilities "creativity genius" I guess.

AI may be a godsend for grunt, repetitive, mind-numbing work no one looks forward to. Instead, we insist on it doing the things humans would rather do.

"Yeah but it's funny" was an alleged usual retort of his when he was confronting ideas. Nevermind that Schulz had a very particular framing of "funny", but he certainly saw it as the most important thing on the making of the strip.

Know what, been thinking about this more and more since few of us are raising trad families anymore. What's the point of ending up old and alone? The way things are looking, I'd rather be sharing a flat with trusty mates respecting each other's private spaces. Should be another option.

the forbidden search term

I've been slowly trying to rebuild my Dirk Brody webcomic site after it decided to become inoperable a while back. Finally getting to one of my favorite sequences when they finally get to the city on the moon only to get split up by catastrophe.

Page from the web comic Dirk Brodey. Dirk and his assistant Tad land on the moon outside a domed city. Dirk exits the ship in an old diving suit to open an entrance near the ship. Tad want to go to but they only have a diving bell instead of a second suit. Next page, Dirk finds a way to open the door but once inside the whole entrance collapses behind him, cutting him off from communicating with Tad. Tad races to get in the diving bell in a desperate attempt to save Dirk. Dirk's okay but Tad has no idea of his status. Cut to Tad shoving the diving bell across the surface of the moon only to get caught on a rock. Unable to move forward he slumps down in despair. Only then he notices an access panel under the moon dust. Another way in!

No wonder billionaires wants us to multiply like rabbits - they don’t have to think about how to stretch a bill in unheard of ways.
