I care about stuff and people (and apparently, that's weird or "revolutionary") Oh. Movies. I talk a lot about movies.

2 is not more important than one but if you're the type of person who says things like "act your age" or "what are you doing?" or "stop. You're embarrassing", please stay away from me. I'm not trying to date my mother. I was raised by a bully. I'm not trying to have another one in my life
You don't care and thats why I'm posting this but my dating non-negotiables are simple:

1. Respect my pronouns (should go without saying, but I've had boyfriends who didn't give a shit and that hurt)

2. Accept that I'm a silly goose who frolicks and dances to anything that sounds good on the spot
If you wanna fight someone, fight the people who decided to have me. They decided on the day. Could've been any other day. I don't make the rules.
My birthday is on Halloween, and as a person born on Halloween, I don't care that you don't celebrate the day. It's Halloween to me. Not celebrating Hallpween is not celebrating my birthday. If Halloween is demonic, I am demonic. The point is that the 31st is both my birthday and Halloween.

People who DO NOT CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN IN OUR HOUSE I’M SORRY BUT IT GLORIFIES SATANISM, while mercifully few and far between, are always keen to make sure you know their views. I don’t celebrate a lot of things, love, but I’m not so up myself as to force this on total strangers who don’t care
What's on my mind right now is when did people decide that Velma from Scooby Doo would be like a sex symbol inspiring countless, and I mean countless, sexy cosplay(not complaining, by the way). Was it Linda Cardelini or did everyone just get horny for a cartoon who wears a dress and glasses?
Propaganda I'm falling for: (Hot girl) walks in the park. I know these things are played as a like dating profile meme, but I truly adore that activity and hate that there are some communities (you know which ones) where you aren't afforded that privilege.

This government suffers from severe loser stench. Everything they say and do is a barely veiled form of "I'm the BOSS and you have to RESPECT ME!" and nobody does. Millions of people are going outside tomorrow just to say so

"I say ignorant things as satire" is the kind of poster I never understand.

"Oooh I made people mad with my ignorance but I'm only ~~pretending~~ so I got you!"

congrats. you successfully emulated the least creative people in the universe. clap clap.

They made it too expensive to buy a house but they also made it too expensive to rent. It's time to Retvrn to our ape roots and live in the trees

nothing can give me the strength to get out of the car more than a commercial coming on in a podcast lol
I love that regardless of what happens in the world, we all collectively agree that Lady Antebellum's "Need You Know" feels like a song from 2002 and not 2010.

Watching people being brutalized by the state, secure in the knowledge that I'm safe because I don't do anything wrong. And the best part? The state can't suddenly and arbitrarily redefine what "wrong" means

Robocop is a movie about a guy who gets killed on the job and they still made him go back to work
It's quite pathetic in retrospect but to look at it in a positive note, if it took me this long to gain that perspective, it means there's a whole lot more I could learn about myself even if it takes another 10 years and I'm heavily excited about that.
I think that could tie into how there was a period where my self-confidence (and esteem, if we're keeping it honest) was so low that all I relied to get by socially was assimilation. If a group of people on a site were known for being funny(funny twitter), I'd lean on that just to be noticed by them
Thinking about how I spent way too much time on Twitter worrying about being liked by people who sometimes turned out to be the worst people or people who just didn't add any value in my life. I have a history of being a bad judge of character (you can tell by the people I've oncs associated with).

Both sides of a conflict are calling each other evil and corrupt, rendering me, a humble journalist, helpless to discern the truth. Best I can do is let you know that both sides are in fact saying those things. Hope this helps
Great people keep dying while my parents live to see another day. I love this life but when shit like this happens, I always wonder what it wants from me. Just once, I'd like to hear about a death that'll leave me happier than I already am
The Algorithm of your streamers is not gonna save you. Ngapha AI "music" is everywhere. Go outside if you're really about that life
Ngishaya inumba ngenxa yestrada. Street bashes elokshin is what developed my love for house. Endaweni on Fridays is A2H where you hear the finest deep house. Jazz sessions is where I developed my love for jazz. Even hippopo. Istrata baba and I'll never stop because I wanna hear new shit
"You don't wanna be 40 in the club" bro, where do you think my music taste developed? I didn't discover new music by being alone in my safe space, and I don't wanna spend the rest of my days listening to the same old shit so I'll be out there. Concerts, listening sessions, groove, zwap till I die.
