Israel has said it will not release two detained Palestinian doctors, including paediatrician Hussam Abu Safiya, as part of the ceasefire deal, a Hamas official told CNN.

Safiya was beaten and kidnapped by Israeli forces in Gaza during a raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in December last year after he refused to abandon patients under siege.

Footage in the aftermath of the attack showed Safiya wearing a white medical overcoat crossing a street strewn with rubble.

The Israeli military said Safiya was being held as a "suspect" and being questioned over "potential involvement in terrorist activity".

Safiya has been held since then without charge

The thing about people who say that it isn't possible for someone with ASPD to be a good person is that they care more about their idealistic views about what they think should be possible than about the evidence in the actual material world around them.

The thing about seeing people use sociopath as an insult is that I've generally learned to anticipate better treatment from someone with ASPD than from a neurotypical. I don't know if it's to do with different lived experiences or what.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud was a computer engineer doing web development before this. He’s lost his job and home (and many coworkers) and is in a tent with his family including his children Zeina, 6 and Zane, 2. His wife Malak is 7 months pregnant.

We once had a beautiful, warm home a refuge from danger, cold, and rain. I’d return from work tired, and Lina would open the door; her hug and the scent of our home erased all fatigue. Now it’s all gone, Lina. They left us nothing to hold onto. Can I ever get my home back?

Honestly, it’s exhausting that people think Gazans should only ask for help to survive to eat, to stay alive but not to dream, to study, or to rebuild their lives. Wanting education, safety, and a future isn’t greed. It’s being human.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Azza. Before this Azza worked in a kindergarten and her husband owned a small coffee shop. They lost their home in the first two weeks of the war. They are trying to survive with their children Nisreen, 16, Layan, 14 and Ibrahim, 11.
