Most of us already know that Mamdani is no socialist, and that DSA is an arm of the Dem Party. Their goal is to repair and maintain it. They want to run the machine. The problem is that a lot of people that are still early in their political education think that DemSocs are the real deal.

The thing about advocating electoralism in the context of the US and calling yourself a "democratic" socialist is that it supports the narrative that the US is a democracy and that only by working within the system can you be democratic.
