This reminds me of how I cringe every single time someone well-meaning references Maslow's hierarchy of needs in an attempt to be helpful, as if that white man did not have the unmitigated gall to steal credit from Blackfoot communities, & still get it wrong: www.pacesconnection.com/g/tribal-com...

"Become ungovernable" isn't just a catchy little phrase, and it will require some real deep cognitive discomfort and sackin up for a lot of people who still even half believe in the lie of what America pretended to be.

Setting a resolution to only purchase my books at brick and mortar book stores this year. Buy and preserve physical media. Keep as many banned books as you can. Support authors of color, lgbtq+ authors, etc. The book stores need us now more than ever.
