Writer, serial procrastinator. Wild-haired, tired-eyed purveyor of words like purveyor. Evil marketer, aspirant academic - Free Palestine, of course - he/him
Heartbreaking, infuriating (because how many of us have struggled to articulate how they feel about the death of friendships over the utter disdain to the eradication of a people) and a ridiculously beautiful read.

imagine if Labor cabinet ministers & MPs had an ounce of the character & courage of Senator Fatima Payman—they could prevent harms, achieve positive changes or at the least represent their constituents instead of Big Business, miners, weapons corps, financiers, property developers, landlords etc
Senator Payman: "The more I’ve lived and worked in public life, the more I’ve come to realise that bravery isn’t about never feeling afraid. It’s about recognising fear for what it is and choosing to act anyway. It’s a choice open to us all, not just those whose names end up in the history books."

It's important to boycott Uber. They will use the drones that killed children, who stood in line for flour, to deliver your food order. Do not use Uber. For anything.

It is very fucking weird to sit down for a metal concert. My legs thank me, but every instinct in my body wants to get up to headbang.

Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

What stage of dystopian nightmare are we at?

Adobe Acrobat, a PDF editor, keeps asking, nay demanding, that I generate an image every fucking time I highlight any text to mark it up, edit, or in any way try to do something to TEXT.

Our beloved Alice Wong has joined the ancestors. It was one of the great honors of my life to call Alice my friend, co-author & co-conspirator. She was a true genius, a force of nature the likes of which the world has never seen before. I love you, Alice, and am equal parts grateful and devastated

Anyone else noticed how Nazi rallies get the go-ahead fairly easily from state governments, then the horrified public reaction is weaponised to pass anti-protest laws, which are then used to quash anti-genocide dissent and justify police assaults on small brown women? You picking up on this, too??

For all the BS capitulation to Jill Segel that's happened in Australian unis, I was pleasantly surprised to be in a work all-staff where the host referred to it as "the genocide in Gaza", without any qualifying statements around Hamas & "antisemitism" (bonus separation of zionists and Jewish folk)

My real fucking problem with his keighleyness is that (and this could just be an algo thing) I've never seen him give interviews, or do anything interactive outside of social media and his events. Which highly reduces the chances for good journalists to call him on his shit to his face.
