ry got me thinking about OC flaws... tailor is avoidant with a misanthropic streak + a touch of "mad scientist"/ reckless fixation with his work (teddy also has this problem). Teddy's main problem is over-intellectualizing, also ft. minor cowardice and insecurity/ low self esteem

most of them are crafty/ creative in some way, most of them take things at face value a little too much, lots of religious angst and disconnection from whatever culture they were born/ raised in, lots of Thirst For Power and desire for specialness in different forms. also assorted mental illnesses

one interesting dimension of this is that this is explicitly how many theaters used to work. you'd have a repertory company of 6-12 actors who did everything. that model is dead and yet it's still often implicit in how a lot of directors and decision-makers approach casting, even subconciously
part of getting cast consistently is artistic directors mentally adding you to their little roster of preferred actors like a kid collecting dolls. the weird part is you don’t get any notification when this happens, it just eventually becomes apparent
