"Palestinian witnesses have reported that some prisoners were alive at the time they were taken for organ extraction. In one batch of bodies, the organs removed were those commonly transplanted: heart, liver, lungs... Here, the surgeon acts as—is—a soldier."

I'm honestly speechless.

At some point in the future, maybe years or even decades from now, it will be a widely acknowledged fact that the moment we are living through was the result of a total legitimation of virulent Islamophobia, buttressed by and interwoven with age-old, All-American genocidal ‘anticommunism’ tropes.

Under Starmer, recognised refugees can no longer reunite with their children.

Recognised refugees.

Denied the right to reunite with their children.

It’s diabolical. Worse than anything the Tories did. & no, the racists are not & never will be satisfied.

So yes, he’s hated.
What these “but why do people hate Starmer SO MUCH” takes come down to is so shallow.

Starmer doesn’t sound or look like a firebrand so what’s the big deal?

Immune to questions of SUBSTANCE - he’s liar, enabled a genocide, pandered to anti-migrant politics & global Fascism.

“Four of my children just evaporated,” Badran said, holding back tears. “I looked for them a million times. Not a piece was left. Where did they go?”

There are no words to adequately describe the evil here.

If we’d learned in 2018 that e.g. Seumas Milne was passing privileged government info to a secret network of influence-peddling sex offenders led by the world’s most notorious nonce - do you think the lads would struggle to understand why that had grave implications, far beyond Milne’s office?
I mean: this summary of how fucked it is does not even touch the sides of just how bad it is.

Out of curiosity I wondered what the English language media in the UAE would do with the revelations there are prominent Emiratis in the Epstein files and apparently the answer is: nothing.
There are brief reports on Starmer under scrutiny but this is the level of reporting you get.

You could see how fucked they were from Scotland in 2015: all it took was for a slightly more palatable party to emerge on their left, and they were instantly fucked into orbit. The entire time since was them screaming abuse, drumming their heels, pointing fingers and refusing to accept reality.
I think this is correct that the end of Mandelson and McSweeney really marks the terminal decline of the Labour Party, a death long foretold. The political debate now is what might arise from the wreckage.

Alex Massie trumped up a fake campaign in the times to claim hundreds of rape convictions for women in the justice system were actually trans women despite the numbers covering several hundred more convictions than there are trans women in prison for any crime.
To understand how much Alex Massie actually cares about women's safety: when I called out his transphobe-in-arms Nick Cohen for multiple acts of sexual misconduct against cis women, which eventually got him sacked, Massie went berserk at me.

Transphobia is a men's rights movement in drag.

Man who stood up and scapegoated immigrants for making Britain into an island of strangers begs to be taken seriously as a conscientious public servant.
Labour MPs & party insiders tell me they’ve never seen Keir Starmer so angry as over Mandelson’s lies about Epstein links.

But those who know him well say that anger has now turned inwards. That Starmer is, above all else, a man of public service, and will be grappling with his conscious this w/e.

The Kincora Boys Home stuff is wild because its well recorded fact but it seems an absurd conspiracy theory.

There's an inherent belief that Thatcher putting a military intelligence officer in prison for reporting child abuse would be a bigger deal, so the fact it isn't keeps it hidden.
