It’s out! I’m so thrilled to have worked on the narrative and can’t wait to see what folks think!

(The opening of this fantastic trailer is how it’s going to look when I play. lol.)

Playing God of War (2018) an giggling at Kratos saying he “will not be distracted by this fool’s errand,” because I know I’m in charge, and you bet he will.

Thank you for sharing these! Some of these resources appear amazingly useful, at first glance.

If anyone else is in need of a way to weed through the overwhelming choice of potential mental health apps, there are detailed sources of information out there.

Monochrome Heights is out and on sale. It's a challenging platformer with a shifting mechanic. Climb the tower in well-constructed levels that will have you constantly and quickly shifting as you run, jump, and slide. Also has a surprisingly good story.

LAKE MUNGO rejects the typical horror spectacle. Instead, focusing on intimate interviews and video clips. It was so grounded that I almost started to question whether or not it was fiction. And that makes the movie all the more haunting.

October #Horror #4: LAKE MUNGO (2008) — The poster and my past experience with faux-documentaries led me to expect something more bombastic than this achingly sad and haunting movie. When their daughter dies, the Palmers look for answers in the aftermath. Are they haunted or just mourning?
Three people sitting for a documentary interview. The two parents look to their son while he speaks.

It’s happening enough that I’m considering just not finishing the game.

I’m encountering so many more bugs in Act 3 of BG3 (on PS5). Multiple times now an NPC has frozen in the decision stage in the midst of a battle (in different battles), forcing me to start the battle over.

Especially frustrating when it happens just as I’m getting close to finishing the battle.

Such a good point. And when they created a new Honmoon, I thought it would be different — maybe make space for demons to make peace with their shame and escape oppression if they don’t do harm or something, but it just locked them all in again. The same old thing.

Just watched @princesmweekes.bsky.social's latest on fantasy racism and she didn't touch on KPop Demon Hunters, but her ending statement about when "a demon, can just be a demon" definitely had me thinking about KDH.

Based on the book by Adam Cesare, because of course I forgot to put that in.

October Horror #3: CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD (2025) — Based on the book by (which I loved), with an interesting take on the slasher genre. Hoping for a fresh start, Quinn and her father move to a small, ailing town, known for its mascot Frendo the Clown, which begins slaughtering local teenagers.
A terrifying clown points a crossbow at the viewer.
