At some point in the last few years somebody realised that any video display can be used for advertising and now everyone is doing it.
I'm actually less offended by Tesco putting up screens in store specifically for ads. Like at least that's not interfering with its own purpose.

At some point in the last few years somebody realised that any video display can be used for advertising and now everyone is doing it.

Some of the sharpest scripting and best acting in a Marvel series yet.

Unrelated to the book, this back-of-a-spaceship is sparking a memory and I can't remember what of. Just this configuration of a big old arch hanging out underneath the ship's engines. I'm *not* thinking of the Odyssey from Ulysses 31, the one I'm thinking of is Long (and not a full oval)
Book 1 of #adamreads2026 down, and it was a big 'un - Infinite Stars: Dark Frontiers, a bumper compilation of space opera stories edited by Bryan Thomas Schmidt!
As with all anthologies, there were some bangers, some fizzles and the rest were pretty solid, but all of them new to me 😊
