Y'all please fucking advocate for your health. I'm down 40lbs since fucking JULY bc I no longer suffer from PCOS. I'm losing weight & I've not changed a thing about my diet. Told everyone for years my weight was a side effect of PCOS. No one listened. Okay then tell me how I'm doin' it then??

LRT cont: Genuinely I think part of the problem in today's working environment isn't just a lack of compensation/ motivation/ whatever. I think genuinely a big part of the problem we face today is that company loyalty no longer exists. And I mean this from the upper management side, not the workers.

I think we should do this across all lines of work. I don't care about your "but if you're confident, no one needs to--" yes, I think they do. I think we all need to give and hear praise from time to time when we've done something we're proud of, or if you're proud of that person's accomplishment.
A famous guy I was a fan of sent an email during the pandemic just being like "hey I like your show, great job" and it meant a ton to me. So ever since I've tried to reach out whenever I really like something and just tell the people who made it "I really like this, thanks for making it!"
I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice
