bro I pay like $1200 a year for health insurance NOW, subsidized by tax credits and that’s just my premium not my additional out of pocket costs from actually *checks notes* going to the goddamn doctor

it will be good to keep this in mind for constitution 2.0
One issue is the constitution being written by educated men, imagined that future citizens and leaders would be as educated as them or more, and that therefore their future was always going to be one that respected unwritten but agreed upon centuries of English legal tradition

There is absolutely no bottom. They will kill and murder and steal and break the law and laugh at every rule and institution until they are stopped. They think they are all-powerful and all conventional rules of morality and legality do not apply to them.

A lot of what people imagine politically for this country can't actually happen under the current Democratic party. That's something that I don't see lots of people actually reckoning with. There is no way to do most of the things that some people want to do through the Democratic party.
