Honestly, how have we normalized politicians just straight up IGNORING constituents. These neo-liberal murderers for hire get shouted down every where they go and somehow they still have this smug "shut up, I'm in charge" mentality. Better leaders used to be hung for less.
@anitaoakvilleeast.bsky.social doesn't care; beyond useless as a political servant and by all observations is a really shitty, evil human. Totally worthless and an enemy of the people.

America sucks because communists didn't vote for Kamala. It wasn't centuries of slave based capitalism, or a hundred years of failed reconstruction, or continued slavery under Jim Crowe or an obsessive military industrial complex... It was people with principles who understand voting.
So should we have folded and said "oh well, Carney isn't leftist enough so better not vote", and then watch Canada collapse into the monster down south?

What that means is, the weapons used either atomised people entirely with physical blast effects, or created fires so hot that the bodies were entirely destroyed.
It made NO blip on this godforsaken site, but a few days ago numerous news sources broke that the Gaza Civil Defense had reported that around 3,000 Palestinians had partially or completely evaporated from US-manufactured bombs.

Well, today, they adjusted that number to 7,820.

Example 3,088,347: conservatives don't actually believe in anything and spend all their time jumping from grift to grift.

The liberal version of this is performative identity politics. Combine the two and you have the perfect recipe for endless political fundraising opportunities/suffering
During the election, Mike Lee amplified a critique of rap lyrics from Glorilla, Cardi B, and others who were supporting Kamala Harris.

Now, he openly embraces Nicki Minaj as MAGA’s “secret weapon.”

It's fucking disgusting how easy it is to be a good mayor, and we're stuck with a phony progressive in @cityofhamilton.bsky.social who failed as an @ndp.ca and now spends her time killing unhoused and taking money from public services to shower upon corrupt murderers in @hamiltonpolice.bsky.social
Thank you for being part of our twelfth anniversary, Mr. Mayor! It was an honor to have you officiate our marriage.

The more I watch this, the more I realize the potential. Weightlessness + fluid mechanics mean any fat that "drips" out would evenly coat the entire wing if I'm not mistaken; a deep space fry, if you will. What are your thoughts on the succulence potential here, @cmdr-hadfield.bsky.social

I think it's important to question the original quality of our democracy if this contempt can be displayed for so long, by so many people, and yet... Nothing changes.
The greatest threat to humanity is continuing to not critically examine the deeply flawed, corrupt systems that led us here.
Attorney General Pam Bondi tells a member of a co-equal branch of government during a public hearing: “You don’t tell me anything, you washed-up loser lawyer.” The disdain for our own government is appalling. This administration is destroying our democracy.

The police do not operate above board on literally every level.
on top of that, police usually have a say in hiring practices for their precincts, so they will refuse to hire additional officers, leaving their precincts under-staffed so they can soak up more overtime. they cost the city even more per officer but do less work because they're tired and overworked
