In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

I quickly had a look for Linux options and there seem to be a ton of ways to accomplish, one of the easy ones seems to be Crow Translate. It does OCR locally though, which requires each OCR language to be installed.

For Windows I've found Translumo, that looks kinda cool. Found it by accident.

wished that that would burn these companies to the ground, even if it cost many jobs. Because down the line these companies will throw their workforce under the bus anyway. And we can't just sit idly and support them because "of the poor workers". They will never benefit from that anyway.

For US companies there's the factor of terrible workers rights and that is obviously bad but which company is mostly likely to take

Recently I've had more and more issues with employees and their relationship with bad employers.

Like, I get it, you need to work and put money on the table. But choosing to work for a (morally bankrupt) big company doesn't have to be it, does it?
