"Well, it doesn't actually help YOU per se. If anything, it has made the entire process slower and WILDLY inefficient. Yes, I hear what you're saying BUT imagine how much money I'll make once the slot machine pays out! Don't you want to be a part of that? No. No, I wouldn't pay you back..."

All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".

Poor dumb young people; indoctrinated by the evidence of their eyes and ears; living in a bubble of what is actually happening instead of here in the real world of billionaire donor events and funder dinners.
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

It's easy to assume that because they're important and everyone they interact with online is important that they must have access to better information, but it's far more plausible that they're more susceptible to conformism and the costs of contesting misinfo are higher due to fears of ostracism.

Pols love to talk about "epistemic bubbles", but who can really afford to maintain that even with the luxury of a smartphone and a data plan? Normal people still have to work to feed themselves, interact with a broad swath of society who they often depend upon. But Clinton-types have no guardrails.

Every organization is vulnerable somewhere. The larger they are, the more tender spots they have.

Disrupt their events. Drive negative press coverage. Damage their reputations. Compel your organizations and institutions to sever ties with them.

Be a hornet - sting where they are vulnerable.
Here in Boston, we’ve made it more costly for Fenway to abandon trans youth and trans adults by protesting in front of their clinic, by severing ties with them, and by disrupting their gala and public events.

I suggest local activists elsewhere investigate similar potentials for disruption.
As a matter of survival, our response must be to make it as costly as we can, as ugly and as reputationally damaging and as expensive as we are able to - to abandon and sacrifice trans people.

To keep it from being an easy, simple bottom line decision to drive us out of public life.

Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."

Apparently P*ypal now asks for customer opinions on accounts sending invoices.
If you are paying an invoice to a nsfw artist, do NOT mention NSFW in any way, keep it blank even. you risk both your account and the artists.

The story isn't so much that a senile rapist is having his inhibitory impulse filters dissolve, but that the media *does not seem to have a problem with this*

Think about how journalists who don't lick boots, would respond to this at that moment.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'
