Ahh. It's been a while since I was able to do a "Don't set an alarm, just sleep until your body decides to wake itself up" morning. And apparently 9:35 AM is what my body decided (after turning out the lights around ~10:30-11 PM).

Also, this is the crux of why colleges are viewed as "liberal indoctrination" machines. It's because they teach critical thinking, and most right-wing views crumble to pieces with the application of critical thought.
This is why the STEM vs humanities or whatever discussions are wrong. Regardless of major, a degree should be teaching you critical thinking, how to communicate, and how to reason, whether it's fine arts, engineering, or literature.
I only make the “want fries with that” joke with other art alumni, because, TBH, it’s bullshit. I use my BFA every day for work.
Art school, for me, wasn’t about learning to draw, but learning how to think & solve problems abstractly. And that’s a prime set of tools for uncertain times.

Huzzah! The apartment complex is FINALLY getting the sidewalks cleared of snow-crete.
They're having to use one of those landscaping front-loaders to do it (because: snow-crete), but it's getting done!
Hopefully after this they tackle the plow piles trapping cars in the parking lot.
