it proves a lot of claims teen challenge has made publicly (even via their lawyers) wrong and is very important proof of how fucked that whole industry of wilderness camps and "rehab" centers are. im really hoping some other journalists pick up our work where we left off.

during the early months of covid, the city of Minneapolis used a complaint from a school operated by Teen Challenge to clear a homeless encampment, at a time when all public schools and most private schools were operating remotely. they will give in to hate if we let them

This is why so many people who were in the troubled teen industry are still "programmed." It's a cult. So you either go spread the cult messaging or you have to deconstruct who you learned to be in your formative years and reconstruct who you are.
