Unrelated, but not acknowledged here: due to a number of issues I stepped away from running @loonstravel.bsky.social before the playoff run. Big thanks to @nickmoore.social @maggiheyer.bsky.social and @mnwonderwall.bsky.social for taking my work and big ups to every traveling #MNUFC fan this year.
Sports is a D/s dynamic depending on the balance of play and how switchy you get. There’s enough to love from #MNUFC this year that I can at least live with tonight being a grounding to Earth.

The field at Snapdragon Stadium does not look to be in great shape from Saturday's football game, and I'm told from field level that it's worse, up close.
Both teams have to play on it, so no winners here, but might hurt the team that likes to keep and pass the ball the most...

I (selfishly) want a MNUFC v NYCFC final for the MLS Cup so that Minnesota hosts the final. That it’ll serve to show MLS what they voted for with the calendar shift to more December football is bonus.

my older brother's Philly Union have lost to NYCFC in their eastern semi-final.
the only good news out of this, there now is a slight chance MNUFC may host the MLS Cup Final if they win their next 2 games & NYCFC beat Miami next week.
