I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

There is no middle position. Either you're opposed to what's happening, opposed to fascism, or you're very much in favor of it. You're complicit. That's it. No middle ground.

McGowan: Why are you talking like that? It's insane. Your attitude is just horrifying…

ICE agents pose as utility workers to get inside immigrants’ homes to detain them. The utility company has posted guidelines on how to recognize real utility employees. I have no words!

American officers know what Trump is planning, and their minds will rebel at directives to take everything they’ve prepared to do for years and apply it backwards, against the allies they have trained to work with and protect.

Trump’s “Board of Peace”: What It Is — and Why It Is Not the United Nations
Trump’s proposed “Board of Peace” is being compared to the UN — but the structures are fundamentally different. This analysis explains what it is, what it isn’t, and why governments are pushing back.

I suspect 9 of 10 Americans are unaware that the Hmong are here because they aided the US in the Vietnam war, and then had to flee as refugees afterwards. Quite the “thank you” we’re giving them 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I do not like how close POTUS is getting to declaring war against Minnesotans & ordering the U.S. Army to coerce us.

We are standing up peacefully.

The only way I see this walk down is enough GOP members of Congress coalesce with Ds to reign him in on this.

What can u do to advance that?

Europe may begin selling U.S. assets in response to a new conflict with the US—a move that could trigger a dollar collapse, Bloomberg reports. Deutsche Bank analysts warn Washington’s key vulnerability is living off global financing—and Europe may decide it no longer wants to bankroll the U.S.

Please do not refer to this "Board of Peace" as a UN-like entity.

It is a Mar-a-Lago Club / Rose Garden Club inspired membership with ONE person collecting fees, ONE person being in charge with neither citizens nor leaders having ANY say about anything.

Let's keep our heads on a swivel. Please.

It's cool that these guys just use pepper spray casually now, against people who are wholly within their rights, without a moment's hesitation. Several shots of them using it as they climb into their cars and drive away, not even a pretense of urgency or need. Just a parting "fuck you" to them.
This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.
