I suspect that many Iranians and Western liberals who supported the Islamic Revolution were thinking along the lines of people who saw Project 2025 and figured Trump didn't really fully mean it, certainly wasn't going to try to pull it off, and in any event wouldn't actually be able to

It is clear to me that Trump, Vance, Miller, Noem, Bovino, Homan, et al actually despise rank-and-file ICE officers
If they cared at all, they would make sure ICE officers had the tools/support to be in position to do their jobs well - not throwing them into incendiary and dangerous situations

It is clear to me that Trump, Vance, Miller, Noem, Bovino, Homan, et al actually despise rank-and-file ICE officers
If they cared at all, they would make sure ICE officers had the tools/support to be in position to do their jobs well - not throwing them into incendiary and dangerous situations

Thoughtful interview with the Minneapolis Police Chief. I wonder if it's clear to ICE agents the extent to which their superiors simply don't care about them, their personal safety, or their ability to successfully accomplish their goals.

Of course there is a double standard in terms of the administration's rhetoric, but isn't it incredible, especially in retrospect, just how professional the Capitol Police were on 1-6-2021 in terms of avoiding using deadly force on civilians? Absolute heroes, all of them.

An arsonist hit a Mississippi synagogue Saturday. Seven Torahs were damaged or destroyed in the fire.
One Torah, from the Holocaust, was in a glass case and wasn't touched.
The same synagogue was bombed by the KKK in 1967.
