The US Holocaust Museum being more outraged by Tim Walz saying that, like Anne Frank, children today are in hiding from armed agents of the state, than they are about the fact that children are in hiding from armed agents of the state, is why Holocaust remembrance culture is in crisis.

I think it's really bad that the group that claims to speak for Jews at Columbia University is so grossly xenophobic.

Also - Mamdani did grow up in NYC.

Fwiw, he says he's not asking for forgivesness or sympathy. Ah ha, *exactly what someone who's just trying to sell an album would do*! I dunno. It's also what someone sincerely trying to amends would do. YMMV, I only have my own experience to work from.

Do consider reading it all before commenting.

Utterly unfit for leadership and public service. What clearer test is there of your character than whether or not you can unambiguously condemn murder? www.nytimes.com/2026/01/25/u...

is the cure for male loneliness showing up early and setting up chairs?
A lot of the Male Loneliness Epidemic can be traced back to the fact that most cis dudes don’t participate in communal logistics.

The founders wrote the 2nd Amendment for a reason: So you could hold a cool gun while you nod approvingly at what the government is doing.
seeing conservatives admit alex pretti was disarmed and need to change their message to “well you know where you won’t get shot? at home” is just an impressive level of pathetic allegiance to their dictator

International law no longer serves as an instrument of global stability—and the U.S. should use this moment to argue for a different approach to the rules of war, John Yoo argues.

Trump v. Anderson is every bit as wrong as Dred Scott, Plessy, or Korematsu.
What's happening in Minnesota is one reason the Reconstruction Amendments banned insurrectionists from holding office. Unfortunately, the originalists on the Supreme Court interpreted the plain language of the amendment to mean its opposite.

If I may, I’ll suggest again:
–invoke 14A §3 vs. organizers, facilitators & willing enablers of the current lawlessness
–charter a _congressional_ truth & reconciliation commission to cut SCOTUS out of the accountability loop
–offer requalification as incentive to aid the commission’s fact-finding.
We will need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission when these cruel, lawless people are out of office. They must be held accountable in order for our nation to heal.
