it's funny how prime 4 is emblematic of nintendo being sooo corporate now that they're only interested in "design by committee"-esque calculated risks which is fundamentally not what the best metroid games have exhibited. if anything, the best ones have bucked safe, reliable design choices.

i never understand why people love until dawn but hate the quarry. the quarry is basically the same idea but done much more competently at the cost of pacing being slightly worse. it's not like they're radically different products.

i finished my first playthrough of the outer worlds. underwhelming ending but it was still an enjoyable game. maybe got a bit overhated after the launch bugs were patched.

the thing about yakuza is that i do want to get back to playing 3, but i'm worried that 2 is the high-water mark for the series (which is a well-founded fear imo)
